I’ll Be Damned by Casey Keen‏

I was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in the suburban outskirts of this amazing city. I love anything paranormal and/or supernatural - seriously I live in Philadelphia! For those of you who don’t know, this city is an awesomely haunted place! This healthy paranormal addiction has provided me the motivation to write my first book, “I’ll Be Damned.”

I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and I'm currently working on the Anna Wolfe Series.

Q) What inspired you to write this story?

When I finished HP Mallory’s Dulcie O Neil series, I fell in love with the whimsical side of the paranormal romance genre . When I found out she started as a self-published author, I decided to put my creativity to the test and write my own novel.

Q) How long did it take you to write?
It took me about a year to write I’ll Be Damned due to a few lulls! Sometimes weeks would go by where I didn’t even glance at my manuscript!

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
How quickly I can escape into my own creation. When I finish a couple thousand words and stop, it takes my mind a few minutes to re-adjust to the “real” world.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
My least favorite thing about writing is creative droughts. Some days, I have cramped fingers from typing my mind’s endless ideas so quickly - while other days I can’t think of one good thing to write… not one. The inability to control my creativity can be frustrating sometimes, especially when ideas come to me as I’m trying to fall asleep.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
Abraham Lincoln! He was an amazing president/person who challenged society’s definition (or lack thereof) of equality and structure and stood steadfast in his campaign for change. He was a perceptive, savvy and self-educated leader, who still remains a well-respected icon due to his excellence in all of his accomplishments. Apart from Abraham Lincoln, I would really love to live in the late 1800’s just to see what life was like back then.

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
String cheese…three months old!

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
Readers can expect book two of the Anna Wolfe Series this fall!
