Q) What inspired you to write this story?

Before I started writing the story, I began to research mythical creatures. It didn’t take me long to come across fire demons, they fascinated and inspired me. And what is even better, they more or less told the story themselves, I only had to write it down :).

Q) How long did it take you to write?
Time is hard to measure when writing, also I have a day job, so sometimes one or two weeks may pass until I have the time to write again. I would guess that it took me about five months.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
That I can create my own world.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
Nothing, really. I even like re-writing and editing. What I hate is the waiting that comes once a novel is finished. Waiting for someone to buy it, to review it, to like it ... An author really needs a lot of patience.

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
Joanne K. Rowling, just so that I would know what it is like to be such a good writer.

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
That would be a beetroot. I bought it before christmas because I thought I should eat more healthy food.

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
The second part of the “Sariel Baldwin Series” and two ChickLit novels, once I have gotten around to translate them.
